 A spin on a classic Middle Eastern condiment, the techina. By adding beets the techina has a hint of natural sweetness and a beautiful color! 


  • 2 beets, cooked and pureed
  • 1 cup, techina paste
  • Juice from a whole lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, mashed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • At least 1/2 cup of ice water, add more water if you like it thinner


  1. Blend together in food processor, correct seasoning if necessary. Add more water if needs to be thinner. 

Serve on anything!
